Vicky and Roger have  three daughters, two sons, six granddaughters, 
four grandsons, two daughters-in law and One son-in- law. 

Vicky

Vicky is retired from her position as PR director for the State University of New York at Stony Brook.  She is past director of the Society of Professional Journalists regions 1 and 5. She is now very involved with American Women in Journalism, the Friends of Sangamon Auditorium as board president, and Springfield Ceramics and Crafts Club.  In addition she is a free-lance writer for the Creators News Syndicate. Vicky and Roger are both involved with the Illinois Foundation for Frontier Studies. Vicky is the Entertainment Chairperson for the Memorial Hospital Foundation's Festival of Trees. Roger assists with running the sound system provided by Whitaker Sound.

Roger

Roger is a graduate Electrical Engineer (B.S.E.E. University of Missouri at Rolla 1970) and is CEO of Access Advisors, Inc. an Internet hosting company. 

Since 1985 Roger has been Chief Engineer for Long Elevator and Machine Company, manufacturers, installers and maintainers of passenger & freight elevators. Long Elevator serves an area from Chicago (including Northwestern Indiana) to St. Louis, Mo.  Corporate offices and manufacturing facilities are located in Riverton, Illinois. Picture of a typical elevator machine room with a controller Roger designed.

Prior jobs have been with Lincoln Land Community College teaching electronics, Dickey-john Corp.,  Texas Instruments, Sangamo Electric Company and Project Hope.
